Workshops

We understand that our church congregation all have different requirements, and therefore run a number of different workshops to give you further training and insight. If there is something you would like us to run, please let us know. Our workshops are intended to raise funds to keep our church running, so your support is always greatly appreciated.

Come and enjoy a relaxed day with us and see if you have a natural talent for mediumship. Even if you just have an interest, you will be suprised at your achievements by using mental mediumship, flowers, feathers, angel cards etc. See your potential as a medium and what you are capable of. The day costs £30 and includes lunch and refreshments throughout the whole day. Discounted price for regular church/circle members. Participants must be able to demonstrate at a beginners level to get accredited.

THIS COURSE IS ACCREDITED THROUGH THE BRITISH SPIRITUALIST FEDERATION. Therefore, even if you currently training in mediumship this will give you a beginners accreditation and will allow you to purchase insurances as a "Trainee Medium". Those who do the Beginners workshop can then go on to do Intermediate after one year from this date, provided they have sat in a development circle for that time.

Come and join us for a 1 day numerology workshop. Learn about destiny numbers, how to create your own numerology chart. Tutored by Sandra McFadden. The day costs £25 for non-members and £20 for members and includes a light lunch and refreshments throughout the day. To reserve a space, please pay a £10 deposit to hold your space. Come and take part in a day of relaxation and learn the basics of foot reflexology massage. This one day hands on workshop is open to all and will give a beginners insight into reflexology. Learn about the history of reflexology, foot massage techniques and the health benefits associated with foot reflexology. The day is tutored by qualified Reflexologists Kirsty Alexander and Teresa Duffy and costs only £25 (£20 for registered Butterfly Members) which includes a light lunch and refreshments. The day will run from 10.30 to 4pm.

Anyone who has previously passed Beginners Mediumship accreditation and sat in circle for one year may take this Accreditation day. The qualification is through the British Spiritualist Federation who are affiliated to the Independent Spiritualist Association. Having an Intermediate accreditation means you are a qualified medium but are not able to teach until you have attained Advanced Mediumship.

The day will be split into 2 parts. Part A - Theory - a multiple choice paper of questions on mental, physical, trance and philosophy. Part B - Practical - be able to open and close in prayer, publicly do a 10 minute spiritual address and demonstrate mediumship for at least 30 minutes with evidence of spirit links.

The paper will be marked with the pass rate of 75% or more. The accreditors will combine their practical scores and decide whether there was enough to satisfy a pass . You will be informed of your result a few days later. Both parts must be passed to be accredited. There are no reductions in fees for resits.

When making a booking for this workshop, we will require details of your circle leader so that we may take a reference and confirmation that you have sat in a development circle for at least 1 year. This is the criteria to be accepted onto this workshop.
